Logbar專案經理謝沛柔示範操作ili。圖／INSIDE 分享 facebook 相信大家對於從去年開始強力放送的神奇翻譯機ili示範影片應該不陌生，影片中隨機搭訕路人，一鍵就能弭平語言鴻溝的神奇機器也成功挑起眾人期待。針對旅行會遇到的痛點，團隊考量得相當周到，和一般或翻譯設備不同的地方是，ili可以離線使用，無需WiFi或任何網路環境也無需連接手機。ili的操作非常簡單，主要集中在一個主按鈕上，長按錄音並進行單向翻譯、短按重複播放翻譯內容、左側邊按鈕還能回頭用自己的語言確認有沒有翻對、短按右側按鈕的電源開關就自動休眠省電。ili的團隊Logbar前一個產品是一樣未推出先轟動的智慧戒指Ring，當時團隊成員較少，而現在為了開發適應多國口音的翻譯機，辦公室成員除了日本當地人，還有來自加拿大、美國、中國、香港、台灣等地的成員。儘管之前的Ring人氣高，卻也像許多初次嘗試硬體開發的新創公司，「成品出貨後操作上有一些可以進步的地方」，Logbar表示，這次的ili汲取過去經驗，精簡了產品體積，操作也變得更簡單化，翻譯最快只要0.2秒，一切務求最佳的使用者體驗。要注意的是，ili主要針對旅遊用詞優化，不建議商務、學術等高專門度的詞彙。因為是完全離線使用，無須下載資料庫，Logbar團隊推薦最好使用簡單短句。ili效果雖然不像漫畫中的翻譯蒟蒻般什麼都可以翻，但針對旅遊範圍單詞優化這點卻相對確保了產品表現的穩定易用。你或許沒辦法用ili撐過一整場國外技術論壇，但碰到像「我對蝦子過敏」這種旅途中常見，卻又難以靠肢體語言表達的情況，就能靠ili解決。Logbar原本真的是酒吧（bar）Logbar東京總部。圖／INSIDE 分享 facebook Logbar兩位30左右的的年輕創辦人分別是現任執行長的吉田卓郎，以及營運長山崎貴之。有趣的是，Logbar前身其實是在澀谷的一間創意酒吧，營運上也採用了很多新科技產品，兩人也總是充滿天馬行空的創意，當初為了一個「有沒有辦法更方便地與機器溝通？」的念頭，而開始開發Ring，最後沿用Logbar成為團隊名稱。Logbar位於東京的Studio。圖／INSIDE 分享 facebook 而吉田執行長在一次演講中曾經提到，目標放在人與人之間溝通的ili，則是源於自己少年時期的留美經驗，體會到在日常生活中要從零開始熟悉一種語言相當痛苦，為了解決這樣的痛點，便產生製作翻譯機的念頭。另一位創辦人山崎貴之也愛到世界各地旅行，明白旅客最常遇到的阻礙就是語言不通。兩人的目標是透過ili，將旅客想說的話傳達給對方，希望ili能讓大家的旅程變得更加順利和愉快。跳脫日式企業管理也許是過去留學和旅遊的經驗影響，整間公司走出一般日本傳統中小企業階級分明、僵化拘謹的印象，組織扁平也積極聽取員工建言。工作文化相當美式，從彈性上下班到老闆要員工以平輩相稱不說敬語，甚至還會用剛聽到的中文現學現賣地和負責中文優化的員工開玩笑。平時內部溝通也是使用Chatwork等通訊軟體，對外也常用Facebook訊息等取代信件往返，務求達到最高效率。也許這些對新創團隊而言沒什麼稀奇，但如果你曾經在傳統日本企業上班，大概就非常明白日本企業所謂的「上下關係」，連想催促同事交稿件，都是以迂迴問候作開頭的習慣。要擺脫日式企業管理是不容易的，Logbar卻能成功做到這一點，算是相當特別。Logbar執行長吉田卓郎。圖取自Logbar官網 分享 facebook 職責劃分上，吉田卓郎懂軟體，而山崎貴之則負責工業設計，不過Logbar亞洲業務暨產品經理彭錦文提到，身為新創小團隊，工程、數據庫、行銷、營運、設計，大家什麼事情都會互相支援，並沒有明確的職責劃分。儘管公司文化隨性自然，講到產品，兩位創辦人倒是發揮了日本企業文化一絲不苟的精神，從產品、包裝設計到社群貼文都會一而再，再而三地細細調整。Logbar專案經理謝沛柔笑稱，「連我們寫的中文貼文，他們都會看過，用漢字去猜意思，再把有疑問的部分再向我們確認。我差點以為老闆竟然連中文也懂！」Logbar營運長山崎貴之。圖取自Logbar官網 分享 facebook 也因為他們對產品毫不妥協的態度，開發一年多來，ili經歷無數次改版，有的舊影片還能看到之前厚重的多按鈕版本，到了現在已經改良成較輕薄，按鈕簡化的外觀。在語言調校方面，除了需要蒐集大量的詞庫數據，還要針對不同口音和用法微調，比如中文團隊就有來自香港、台灣、中國三地的員工來訓練機器，而且中文同一句話有很多種不同的說法、語順，其中四聲的發音又特別難分辨，這方面比英、日文需要花上更多心力。圖／INSIDE 分享 facebook ili 5/30開放預購，接下來已經和日本機場的WiFi機租賃商家達成合作，預計6月就能在日本機場的櫃檯開放日本人租借ili。海外目前也考慮提供租借方案，不過還沒有確切時程，尚待與合作對象調整配合方式。ili既然鎖定旅遊市場，從總部地點、產品規劃到推行通路都以旅客為優先考量。東京外國人、旅客數較多，在這裡獲取測試資料也比較快速，因此辦公室地點選擇設立在東京，而語言方面也是以旅遊常用的中、英、日語優先，之後還會考慮新增韓、泰、西班牙語。推行地點方面，目前已經和夏威夷觀光局合作，在日本旅客常去的夏威夷威基基海灘區域推行，另外和台北市交通部觀光局也有初步接觸。Logbar位於東京UrbanEbisStudio的辦公室。圖／INSIDE 分享 facebook 另外除了首都以外，還有其他同樣受觀光客喜愛的地區，但英語普及度通常較低，剛好特別需要ili翻譯機出馬，比如台灣的新北市、高雄和花蓮都將是ili主力的推廣地區。未來，Logbar也會觀察ili推出後的市場反應進行調整，並且希望這不只停在第一代，等到累積足夠使用者回饋，再推出第二代、第三代ili，成為「像iPhone一樣」長壽的產品線。《原文刊登於合作媒體INSIDE，聯合新聞網獲授權轉載。?

選擇一本Fundamentals of Investments- Valuation and Management(8版)的工具理財書是多麼的重要
